    Hey so I am in NJROTC and I really need to work on my push-ups and curl-ups..... my problem is i'm a weakling and cant do any full reps. :/ Any advice on how to get to do full Navy curl-ups and push-ups by Spring? My Chief told me something today about working on my push-ups but its kinda hard when your a bit overweight...

    Any help would be awesome

    i say start dieting and maybe look into insanity? if that seems all too intense for you right away then just gradually become stronger. do as many sit ups as you can each day...same with push ups. if its one then its one. thats fine, the next hour try two. continue on pushing yourself to go further. the key to a strong push up is a good core. with sit ups and tightening the core will help you loose the extra weight in the belly area.

        Both are very effective especially when it comes to gaining stamina and strength both work in a very good way,You should continue doing it,you will surely achieve your goal.Eat healthy and keep yourself active.
