  • Weight Loss Updates
    MAKULILO
Beginning of January this year, I joined this Forum. I have come to learn so many things. Thank you all. In order to Enlist in the Navy I have to lose weight. My weight was 225lbs, and basing on my height I am supposed to be 175lbs....that means I have to lose 50lbs to join...or to lose body fat percentage from 36 to 22. I started working out in gym and diet on January 12th, 2012. As of today (March 14th) which is like 56 days, I have lost 41lbs. I have 9lbs more to lose to go to MEPS. I have been really quiet on Facebook and on the forum the last few weeks. The main reason for that is my wife is art navy boot camp right now and I am home alone taking care of the 4 and 2 year old by myself, so they keep me busy. When they are asleep or preoccupied, I have been doing a lot of behind the scenes work. I have just completed the forum on facebook. That enables users to check out the forum just by logging into facebook and clicking a little icon on the left side of thier page... that way they never have to leave facebook and can still participate in the forum. • Another New BC4M Feature - The Community Center

Another new feature is this community center.

This will be a place where I can post the latest news about the updates in each branches training programs and much more. There will even be blog sections where each member can create, edit and share their stories with everyone else on the forum.

Thats probably the main difference between this section and the forum... its a place where I can post news such as the updated eye wear at Navy rtc and it be portrayed as news and not just another thread on the forum that might get lost in the shuffle.

As with everything on this site, I cant make it better without you.

Please tell me what you think of it. Give me some ideas on layouts, sections or just anoy other way I can make it serve you guys better.

    Lonnie
